Adventure travelers have you ever been to Alabama? One of the most popular vacation spots with the locals in Alabama is the Gulf Coast. The area boasts of 32 miles of sugar white sand beaches and moderate climate year round. The crystal blue waters are here to swim and relax in.

Gulf Shores offers adventure on pontoon boats through the wetland area not accessible any other way. You can also see dolphins in the wild on a dolphin cruise. After a long day of looking at the wild life you can relax on a dinner cruise.

This area has a lot of flexibility when it comes to places to stay, you can rent for the month the season or the entire summer. If you are traveling with a large group or planning an extended stay it will be easier on the travel budget to lease a condo.

Bon Secour is a National Wild Life Refuge with acres of wildlife you will see sea turtles, migratory birds including Herons. This area of the coast has active locals restoring the coast to it’s original splendor.

Gorhams Bluff is located in the area on the southern most tip of the Appalachian Mountains called Sand Hill what a view. This town has a lot to offer to give a person a reprieve from our hectic lifestyles. You can hike the Appalachian Mountains by day see a classical music concert by night. Take a pottery lesson and be creative.

Bellingrath Gardens is not to be missed it has over 85 acres of gardens. It has annual events during the spring March through May Festival of Flowers, Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Sunrise Service, Camellia Classic Open Car Show, Mobile Rose Society Rose Show, National Public Gardens Day, Mother’s Day Evening Garden Concert.

Sequoyah Caverns exploration of these caverns has been going on since 1824. These unique and beautiful caverns have names and dates carved into them. You will find geological formations that can only be found underground.

Bankhead National Forest you will be able to see wild turkeys. Some great hikes into the back woods here and you will never know what you will find. There are places to rent equipment to float on the rivers.
